To make this simple and easy to understand, look at Ryuunosuke's soul with shadow power residing within his sister and now Shinpei.
Yeah, the same as how Haine's soul resided within Hiruko the day after she was eaten and she get the ability as a Shadow too.
There, Haine is always Haine. Hiruko is always Hiruko. Hiruko's personality of Haine was just a copy because she is a Shadow.

Many people who didn't even realize and keep thinking Haine is actually a villain or using her name when referring to Hiruko like characters inside did made it look like Haine's name get dirtied for the wrong reason... right when she is the actual hidden MVP... Without Haine, there can't be Shadow Ushio and this entire fight can't be possible, Shinpei and his friends would've stand no chance against Shide and Hiruko.

So the Haine that split from Hiruko was the same shadow that copied Ushio and became her, now split yet again to Haine and Ushio?

Technically, Haine copied Ushio's data, created a Shadow like what and how other Shadow did... Then, she sleep inside Shadow Ushio with that eye she stole. That's why Shadow Ushio has that eye for time travelling.

That doesn’t apply here, or to relationships in general because:

1. Shinpei already knows how Ushio feels about him since she already confessed to him earlier in the show.

2. A romantic relationship isn’t some contract bound by spoken agreement. Even if a girl gives a confused yes in the heat of the moment, that doesn’t mean she isn’t going to regret it later and end the relationship if she doesn’t actually like the person who confessed to her.

In best case scenario you'll get more time to make her fall in love with you while already in a relationship, meaning certain boundaries are broken. At worst, it'll end up in an explosive drama and as you said, break-up.

Ryuunosuke was like "Man I'm lonely." Then proceeded to try and make friends with Shinpei so he could at least go out thinking he had Nagumo and Shinpei.

Haine scene scared me spiritually. I was not expecting to see a baby with her eyes gouged out getting roughed up and sliced in half. Shide is just an absolute manace. He definitely one of the best villans this year.
